Janine's Articles From the Soul From the Outside Poetry Corner Prisoner Letters

by Lanny D

They gladly share your rage with you

Break your binding chains in two

Save the perverse and bless the peasants

Sing to us a hymn so pleasant

Tears that fall from raven’s eyes

Like drops of spite from angry skies

Drench the walkway to the gates

That lead us to our blissful fates

Behind the walls lie open tombs

A broken spirit escapes the womb

Runs down the aisle of souls redeemed

Chasing visions he once dreamed

The truth is at the end of the climb

Which happens at its perfect time

To catch a glimpse of what will be

Is to don the robes and walk as three
