Janine's Articles From the Soul From the Outside Poetry Corner Prisoner Letters

As long as my primary goal was only to “get out of prison”,

those bars held me securely.

But once my goal was to improve my life

--whether in prison or out--

then those bars were removed.

I am still behind these fences but I am free.

No walls or razor wire can bind the real me.

If at any point you are able to let go of separation and limitation,

you too will see you are already free.
