THE WINDOW OF MY EYES

by AT
Pennsylvania

Behind the darkness of closed eyes

The composite sketch of space

The reel of many lives

Causality caught on tape

From the depths of the earth I rise

Stirring in a tomb

thirty-seven levels of the path

A lotus in bloom.

Tears dried...head held high...

Rebirth in a world of treasures.

Petalled roses dally in the sky

Gone is stormy weather.

A voice compared to a celestial flute

The inner me.

Songs sung for mended wounds

A vision only I see.

The tree of life has touched my heart

its sap soothed my pain.

Immersed in light... the polarity of dark...

I’ll never be the same.
